Sam is a camera & steadicam operator specializing on narrative films and series

His work has reached audiences in the tens of millions, through feature films such as “Neuer Wind im Alten Land”, “Lost in Fuseta” or “Dünentod” aired on German networks ZDF, ARD and RTL. And on RTP, the Portuguese national TV network.

The short film “O Procedimento”, by Portuguese director Chico Noras, including steadicam work by Sam, was awarded Best Cinematography in the Swindon Independent Film Festival 2024.

Sam continues to further his knowledge by attending workshops such as A-Camera & Steadicam by Filmcare, with Geoff Haley (Avengers, American Hustle) & Ari Robbins (La La Land, Everything Everywhere All At Once), in 2024. Or Blocking Actors by FEST, with Peter Webber (Girl with a Pearl Earring), in 2025.
